Working checklist for brands, importers and dealer networks

Complete this with your team before a pilot. Tick items only after requirements have been agreed and checked on real vehicle listings. This is a planning tool, not a compliance certificate or a commercial proposal.

01. Scope and responsibility

We have identified publication channels: our website, the brand portal, marketplaces and social media.
We have selected the required outputs for each vehicle: gallery, SPIN360, video and certificate.
We have assigned responsibility for photography, quality review, publication and listing updates.
We know which vehicles require a new shoot and which have photographs to assess for reuse.

02. Shot list and geometry

We have defined the listing cover shot — for example front left — and the order of all other views.
We have agreed the required exterior, interior, boot, wheel, equipment and documented-damage photographs.
We have a reference for camera height, tilt, vehicle scale, margins and position within the frame.
For SPIN360, we have confirmed the four required views and the criteria for suitable input photos.
We have checked the reference on different body types and colours, rather than one vehicle.

03. Branding and quality

We have approved backgrounds, programme logos, dealer identification and number-plate presentation.
We have checked the full vehicle in frame, tyre contact with the ground, windows, reflections and body details.
We have agreed how to identify and correct dark, blurred, tilted or cropped photographs.
We have documented how the team uses the 1–5 session score and when a repeat photograph is needed.
We distinguish presentation imagery from documentation of the vehicle’s actual condition.

04. Publication and operation

We have checked how photographs and the player are linked to the correct listing or vehicle identifier.
We have verified formats, aspect ratios, resolution, image order and destination-channel restrictions.
We have confirmed the required integration with each system provider, rather than assuming compatibility.
We know who publishes social videos and is responsible for copy, music and media rights.
We have agreed data access, location, retention and the required data-protection arrangements.

05. Pilot acceptance

We have selected representative vehicles and locations and recorded baseline listings.
We have measured staff time, repeat work and content completeness in both workflows.
We have compared framing, vehicle scale, branding and gallery order across people and locations.
We have checked the live listing on mobile and desktop, including player loading and controls.
We have recorded acceptance criteria, corrections, task owners and conditions for extending the rollout.
